On 30 July 2026, the Somalia Evaluation Society (SOMES) proudly unveiled the Framework of the SOMES–YEE Interim Committee — a landmark step in advancing Youth Empowerment in Evaluation (YEE) and building the next generation of Somali evaluators.

This milestone was achieved through a transparent and rigorous selection process, including application reviews, shortlisting and interviews. The process identified talented Somali youth with strong potential in the field of evaluation, drawn from universities across Mogadishu and the Federal Member States.
